The Impact of ADHD on Everyday Life
ADHD can shape how individuals experience the world, influencing attention, behavior, and emotional responses. Without early recognition or tailored support, these challenges may affect self-perception, relationships, and overall wellbeing. Understanding ADHD is the first step towards creating strategies that help you thrive.

Adult ADHD Assessment
Providing clarity, support, and solutions to help you thrive with ADHD.

Adhering to NICE Guidelines for ADHD Assessments
At JB Wellness Dynamics, we adhere to the guidelines set forth by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) during all our assessments. These guidelines ensure that our assessments are conducted in accordance with the best practices and standards recommended by NICE.
Navigating Adult ADHD can be challenging, but a structured diagnostic process provides clarity and can be seen below.

First Assessment Appointment
The assessment typically lasts 60-90 minutes, during which the clinician will complete comprehensive evaluation that involves gathering information from yourself. Including asking detailed questions about your symptoms, medical history, and day-to-day life.
Self and Informant Questionnaires
You and your informant(s) (e.g. a family member, close childhood friend, partner) will need to complete questionnaires to provide additional information about your behaviour and give the clinician a better understanding of the severity of your symptoms.
Second Assessment Appointment
It is recommended to split your assessment sessions (this can be discussed in consultation and chosen by you). The clinician will review your past and current functioning, including your academic and work experience and social history and how ADHD symptoms affect your life.
Written Report
The written report includes the diagnosis (if indicated) and proposed treatment plans if applicable to be provided to you within 10 working days from date of your assessment.
