The Value of Online Therapy

First rule of therapy? It’s going to get worse before it gets better. This is one of the first things I tell new clients. Therapy is messy, and frustrating, and not linear, and sometimes it can feel completely pointless, directionless or worse…regressive. Here’s a little secret…that’s the whole point. It’s normal. You don’t have to understand what the theoretical approach means or how it relates to how we “do” therapy. What’s important, is that you want to be here, and you chose to be here.

What makes therapy valuable?

  1. Developing a self-awareness and psycho-education

  2. Discovering your triggers, unique strengths and tool box of resources to deal with difficult times

  3. Strengthening your understanding of self and how that may impact the FULL self (body and mind)

  4. Learning to communicate your feelings, emotions, needs and boundaries, but first – learning what your feelings, emotions, needs and boundaries actually are.

I offer all therapy and ADHD assessment services online for adults across the UK. and am no longer accepting new clients in person. Unfortunately due to a very long waiting list and the open ended process of therapy, I can no longer assure when these sessions will become available.

I am accepting new clients for online sessions. If you are unsure if online sessions are for you, please do try the 20 minute free consultation which can give you a feel for the space.

A little about me and my practice

Hi, I’m Juandri (most people call me Jay) and I’m a Counselling Psychologist offering online therapy and ADHD assessments for adults across the UK.

I’m passionate about helping people make sense of their experiences and move toward a more balanced, fulfilling life. I believe therapy should honour the complexity of being human. Life can be challenging, unpredictable, and sometimes deeply painful, but you don’t have to navigate it alone.

My approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and compassionate. I draw from a range of psychological models to create a personalised space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns safely. Whether you’re facing trauma, stress, low mood, ADHD-related challenges, or a sense of being stuck, therapy can help you understand yourself and move forward with clarity.

I’m a HCPC registered psychologist, and my work is guided by integrity, empathy, and respect for your individuality.
