At my practice, I offer a range of services designed to support your mental health and well-being. Counselling sessions provide a safe space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) can help you manage anxiety and depression effectively. Additionally, my integrative psychotherapy approach combines various techniques tailored to your unique needs. I also provide clinical supervision for professionals seeking guidance, as well as comprehensive adult ADHD screening and assessment to help you understand your challenges better.

I am a registered counselling psychologist with a decade of experience in helping adults work through a range of difficulties. We collaboratively work on understanding the patterns and dynamics that influence your life and addressing challenges that these may bring.

Together, we’ll explore the core themes of your struggles and develop a tailored approach that works for you. I aim to create a comfortable process that helps you find meaning and move forward with your life, goals, and vision.

I work with top-down (cognitive) approaches as well as bottom-up (psychodynamic based) approaches that are aligned with NICE guidelines.

What makes therapy valuable…
First rule of therapy? It’s going to get worse before it gets better. This is one of the first things I tell new clients. Therapy is messy, and frustrating, and not linear, and sometimes it can feel completely pointless, directionless or worse…regressive. Here’s a little secret…that’s the whole point. It’s normal. You don’t have to understand what the theoretical approach means or how it relates to how we “do” therapy. What’s important, is that you want to be here, and you chose to be here.

I provide all services online and am no longer accepting new clients in person. Unfortunately due to a very long waiting list and the open ended process of therapy, I can no longer assure when these sessions will become available.

A little about me and my practice…
Hi, my name is Juandri, most people call me Jay and I am a Counselling Psychologist.
I believe that life can be challenging, overwhelming, unpredictable, and entirely messy sometimes. So I believe it’s important to recognise the unique beauty of each individual and rather than labelling genuine emotional struggles as clinical illnesses, I believe that everyone and anyone can struggle and can ask for help and it is this belief that informs my approach and is at the heart of my therapy work.
I work with people who are experiencing difficulties in their life, from past developmental trauma, current trauma to current adverse difficulties and experiences. I believe in personalising treatment to create a safe space in understanding the impact of your life’s difficulties and your distinct needs.
